Dear reader,
Welcome to my blogging site! Here, you’ll find me covering various topics, including small posts, advisories, personal writings, anecdotes, among other genres from travel, media, music, and my lifestyle updates.
First, I’d like to thank you personally for taking a dip into my world. I, Hearst Yorckscher, will not disappoint in entertaining and spreading useful information to wonderful people like you. One day, I aim to create a niche community that’ll be open to new ideas, attitudes and innovations alike.
A bit about me: I’m about to turn 18, getting into college, and writing this in my dorm planning the next phase of my life. Beyond that, I’m into reading, writing, cycling, travelling, shopping, music curation, gardening, video games, blogging (duh), AI (means I like to use it a lot), fashion, finance, and way more topics I can’t think of off the top of my head. I’m always trying my best to learn new things and get into new hobbies. Like this one time, where I decided to go to the city not by myself, but with a friend. That was the first instance of me travelling with a friend and it didn’t disappoint.
I have big ideas for the future. I’ll share them with you all as time goes by. For now, I’m focusing on building the foundation for this community. I have yet to name it and leverage it for the next steps of enhancing said community. I’m thinking of potential group meetups and/or online events. The possibilities are endless, really.
My short-term agenda is to expand on this blogging website and find a source of income for the future. As a college student, I’d have to find viable ways to pay off my tuition in order to focus more time on my studies- and of course, here. Eventually, I’d have to get a work-study job and join some clubs, do some networking, and see where it all snowballs from there.
Enough about me! As for you, the reader, there’s a lot in store when you’re subscribed to me. Exclusive posts, links to exclusive videos, future discounts to my future merchandise store (whenever… you know… I open that up), and the bragging rights to say you read I, Hearst Yorckscher… first. Now that I’m writing about this, I’ve already decided on what to name this blog (ahem, I, Hearst Yorckscher…).
Now that I’ve got that settled, I also have a Youtube channel where you can see my vlogs! I’m thinking about just bundling the Youtube member perks with my blog perks. It’d be something like “If you pay this monthly, you’ll gain access to my vlog- and my exclusive Youtube vlogs… and discounts… and access to the exclusive Discord… and the ticket to participate in online community events…” and whatnot. In addition to this, I might just open up an Instagram, TikTok, and Twitter page to get set up. I feel that in today’s world, people are more far apart and fragmented. You could say it’s due to altered algorithms and the ever diverse taste in content that we all consume. I think we can cherish that diverse taste while also calling a continuous online community with universal values “home”. I think that’s the best route to a happier life.
And about the naming… I got Yorckscher from a march Beethoven once wrote. The Hearst part is just my personal nickname that I found majestic, yet calming at the same time. The title I, Hearst Yorckscher… is to show a declaration about the next big thing… with the dots at the end reflecting the everchanging motives and attitudes I’d develop over time according to every new era of my life.
But yes, like I said before, you only need to subscribe once to gain the bundled benefits… and yes, these benefits get expanded and better as our Yorckscher community keeps growing. For example, one day I might release a new book or a new service that you can gain discounts or primary access to… then one day I might launch a side business that you guys would be able to gain early access to. All very cool stuff. Since I am going into a finance major, I’ll be able to funnel all the knowledge of leveraging real world financial logistics into these projects to get a better outcome for both sides.
